Tuff Stuff Stealth™ Black Ops Series Aluminum Shell RTT (Black) — a rugged, side-open hard-shell rooftop tent built for true 4-season performance. Ultra-fast setup, a massive king-size mattress, and an armored aluminum shell make this a go-anywhere upgrade for trucks, SUVs, and trailers.
- Sleeps 2–3 people comfortably
- Under-2-minute gas-strut-assisted setup
- Huge 71″ × 87″ mattress (~1.6″ thick)
- Durable 280G poly/cotton ripstop body with 210D PU-coated rainfly (~5000 mm)
- ABS? No — full aluminum hard-shell for superior protection
- Three awning-covered windows + mesh screens and a skylight
- Integrated top T-slots for crossbars/gear; ~110 lb rack capacity
Why It Belongs on Your Rig
Stealth™ pairs a low travel profile with serious livability at camp. Open to the passenger side, kick up the skylight, and stretch out on a king-size mattress. The aluminum shell shrugs off branches and weather, while ripstop fabric and a real rainfly keep you dry through stormy nights.
Key Features
- Fast, Simple Deployment: Side-open clamshell with gas struts — parked to camp-ready in about a minute.
- Liveable Interior: Big mattress, panoramic windows, and roof skylight for airflow, views, and star-gazing.
- Trail-Tough Build: Aluminum shell, reinforced hinges/latches, YKK zippers with paracord pulls.
- Accessory-Ready Roof: T-slot channels accept compatible crossbars for boards, recovery gear, or cases (adds ~3″ to closed height when equipped).
- All-Season Confidence: PU-coated rainfly and tight seals for real weather — from sun to storm.

Installation
Mount to a roof rack or bed-rack system rated for the tent’s weight plus occupants and gear. Center the load, align mounting channels, and torque hardware to spec. Verify ladder angle/footing and side-open clearance. Re-check fasteners after the first drive and after off-road use.
Warranty
Backed by Tuff Stuff Overland’s limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Retain proof of purchase and follow care/installation guidelines for full coverage.
Tip: Adding crossbars/gear to the tent’s roof increases travel height and wind load. Verify vehicle/rack ratings, drive accordingly, and secure everything before heading out.
